Beach Girl

Drawing #10

This is a sun, a cloud, a beach, wind and the waves all in the same page!!!

I decided to put lots of unexpected coloures in placed that you could not imagine. The sea has usually a light blue, a dark blue white and that is what I tried to do. Also, I recreated sand, the wind, the sun and the cloud pretty well, i f I do say so myself!

Godshill

Drawing #9

This is Godshill. My mother gave me a book and on the cover there was a photo of Godshill, so I decided to draw it. We already have two pictures in our living room of it. One from my great Uncle George, and the other my grandfather bought all the way from England.

Don't I have an artistic family!

I tried to put as much detail as I could in this one.

The Queen

Drawing #8

This is Queen Elizabeth II. I made it for my mother, who loves Kings and Queens. How did I draw with such grand detail? I looked at a 25 cents and started drawing. I coloured her hair grey to make it look as if you took the picture of her in 2011.

Keep on the lookout, I should be doing more royalty drawings in the future!!!

Snow day

Drawing #7

I decided, since today is a Snow Day, to make a snow day drawing. There's me and my sister looking at the snowman we both built. I made big couds with snowflakes coming out of them.

The snowflakes look like little white balls because sometimes that is how they look. I tried to put as much detail as possible in this one.

Spring

Drawing #6

I had the idea of drawing me and my sister outside in the mud. In the backround, there is our house. I did the bricks brown, the windows grey, and the roof black. I drew the green grass (the lawn) and, of course, the mud!

The Wild West

Drawing #5

This drawing is a cowboy riding his horse in the West. I made it look like the sun was setting by making a half circle on the left side of the bumpy montain. I made the cactus darker greens, to make it look like it is closer to us than the mountains.

The cowboy looks just like a real one because I gave him boots, a hat and made him looking sort of mad and grumpy.

Partial family portrait

Drawing #4

I decided to do a drawing for my great grandmother Claire, who is at a resthome. Today, March 4th, my mother, my sister, my grandmother, and I will go see her. I will give her this drawing.

To the left there is Ciro, my uncle who is a researcher. Next to him there is my aunt Nadine. Under aunt Nadine, is her son, Gianluca, who is also my cousin (he invented this funny song on New Years Day about a dog that goes in the fridge!) Next to her, there is my grandmother Danielle. Under her, there is me! And next to my grandmother there is my dad who is a talented artist. Next to him, there is my mom; then, to the right there is my great grandmother, who completes the picture.

I used coloured crayons to colour, and I used a marker to draw.
